About the role
The Digital Supply Chain Transformation team supports Dyson’s planning, sourcing, manufacturing, delivering and aftersales processes underpinning our global supply chain. Through our internship program, you will learn how to plan and execute concrete goals, communicate with multiple levels of stakeholders effectively, manage deliverables and collaborate with a team on a shared goal(s).
We are looking for interns to join us in our advanced analytics team:

Work with the supply chain operations team to analyse data from various sources including ERP systems, databases, and other data repositories

Develop reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory, production, and logistics

Identify opportunities to optimize supply chain processes and procedures through data analysis

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Present findings and insights to the supply chain operations team and other stakeholder

Support any ad hoc task and analysis required
Working with the team and interacting across business stakeholders, you’ll need to be comfortable learning from others, but also sharing your own knowledge, ideas, and opinions. Apart from the technical know-how, you will need to be an inquisitive self-starter who is passionate about learning and creative in problem solving. We’ll support you with a development framework designed to help you make the most of your career.
About you
Working at the forefront of supply chain transformation is challenging so standards and expectations are high. You’ll be contributing to live projects from the start, so you’ll need to be curious, hungry to learn and ready to get stuck in.
We’re looking for interns who are:

Studying towards Data Science, Mathematics or any related discipline and be familiar with the operational aspects of statistical modelling and analysis

Graduating in 2024.

Able to commit for a minimum of 12 weeks from July 2023

Exposure to programming languages such as R, Python and SQL, GCP and Big Query

Demonstrate your ability to solve problems with an analytical and logical approach

Be able to thrive in Dyson’s fast-paced environment
