Dyson is a global technology enterprise. We solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better. We’re growing fast and our ambition is huge – more categories, more locations and more people.
We push the boundaries of what others have defined as possible. Our approach starts with an engineering mindset and different thinking. Then we continuously refine our ideas – unwilling to compromise and driven by an obsession for finding a better way.
As more consumers engage with Dyson, be it via more types of products, and/or across more markets, the volumes of data greatly increase. As such, the understanding, insights and usage of the data will be key to Dyson’s success.
About the role
The Digital Supply Chain Transformation team supports Dyson’s planning, sourcing, manufacturing, delivering and aftersales processes underpinning our global supply chain. Through our internship program, you will learn how to plan and execute concrete goals, communicate with multiple levels of stakeholders effectively, manage deliverables and collaborate with a team on a shared goal(s).
We are looking for interns to join us in our advanced analytics team:
Work with the supply chain operations team to analyse data from various sources including ERP systems, databases, and other data repositories
Develop reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory, production, and logistics
Identify opportunities to optimize supply chain processes and procedures through data analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Present findings and insights to the supply chain operations team and other stakeholder
Support any ad hoc task and analysis required
Working with the team and interacting across business stakeholders, you’ll need to be comfortable learning from others, but also sharing your own knowledge, ideas, and opinions. Apart from the technical know-how, you will need to be an inquisitive self-starter who is passionate about learning and creative in problem solving. We’ll support you with a development framework designed to help you make the most of your career.
Working at the forefront of supply chain transformation is challenging so standards and expectations are high. You’ll be contributing to live projects from the start, so you’ll need to be curious, hungry to learn and ready to get stuck in.
We’re looking for interns who are:
Studying towards Data Science, Mathematics or any related discipline and be familiar with the operational aspects of statistical modelling and analysis
Graduating in 2024.
Able to commit for a minimum of 12 weeks from July 2023
Exposure to programming languages such as R, Python and SQL, GCP and Big Query
Demonstrate your ability to solve problems with an analytical and logical approach
Be able to thrive in Dyson’s fast-paced environment
Above all, you’ll want to play a key part in bringing the next generation of Dyson technology to the world.

In order to achieve this we need to pioneer technologies that are different and authentic. This is the core of what we do and who we are. We must strive to create the future, every single day by developing new things, different things, things that go against the grain with a diverse and global team of ingenious minds.
Dyson employs 14,00 people and is present in more than 80 countries. And while we are growing fast we want Dyson to remain a start-up in spirit with the freedom of experimentation and learning, constantly reinventing our products as well as reinventing how we work, how we sell and how we support our owners. At the same time we are working through the James Dyson Foundation, James Dyson Award and Dyson Institute to inspire future engineers and pioneering a new approach to engineering education.
Underlining everything we do in this diverse environment is the need to always show respect, supporting each other as one team to overcome whatever challenges we encounter. We drive empowerment, development and equality in an inclusive environment for our people around the world.
