Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers to determine project requirements and specifications for audio visual systems.
- Design and develop audio visual system schematics, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.
- Oversee installation of audio visual systems, including equipment placement, cabling, and integration with other systems.
- Ensure that all audio visual systems meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Test and troubleshoot audio visual systems to identify and resolve any issues.
- Provide technical support to clients, including training on system operation and maintenance.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including system manuals, as-built drawings, and testing reports.
- Work with technicians to schedule and perform regular system maintenance, including firmware updates, software upgrades, and hardware replacements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices for audio visual system design and installation.
- Communicate project updates and status to project managers and clients as needed.
Qualifications:
- Possess with Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or related education background.
- Experience in audio visual system design, installation, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of audio visual system components, including video projectors, sound systems, video walls, and control systems.
- Familiarity with audio visual system design software, such as AutoCAD or Visio.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
