Position: Automotive Workshop Executive
Salary: $3,00 – $4,200
Location: West
Working Hours / Days: 8.30am – 5.30pm (Mon to Fri) / 8.30am – 12.30pm (Alt Sat Off)
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate good Work, Safety & Health environment at workshop
- ensure quality repairs for all service and repair works
- monitor / update SM/CSM daily WIP cars status to meet agreed customer deadline / reduce the downtime
- feedback and follow up technical issues with Technical Dept. to resolve it expeditiously
- counsel staffs on poor work performance to maintain workshop work discipline
- keep records and accountable for all equipment and special tools are well maintained
- conduct meeting with Workshop Foreman daily on quality performance, workshop loading capacity planning and operational issues
- Support front office for technical advice and test drive with customers daily
- Monitor workshop attendance and overtime control
- Establish good co-ordination, smooth operational procedures and communication between Service team and workshop operations
- Resolve customer complaint requiring the co-ordination of the service reception and workshop staff
- Plan for new technicians to receive on-the-job training programme, assign buddy and complete the basic e-learning modules
- Monitor and ensure Workshop Foreman / technicians complete the modular e-Learning programme set-up by Training Dept
- Keep records and accountable for all equipment, and special tools are well maintained
- Verify the effective implementation of preventive and corrective actions on the non-conformity
- Follow-up with Parts Department on outstanding parts and monitor on the ETA date
- Conduct weekly work place safety inspection to ensure tidiness and organised parts/ equipment by the team
- Ensure workshop technicians are provided with the relevant and adequate tools to work
- Recommend continuous areas of improvement
- Review and prepare the “Time Analysis Report” to ensure workshop efficiency, productivity and utilisation are achieved at monthly set target
- Prepare and update the “Roll-over report” on daily basis
- Track “Return Job” ( RJ ) and conduct in-depth investigation with Workshop Foreman. To share and highlight RJ cases to the Technicians to prevent a recurrence
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe environment and help to look after the welfare and interest of the workshop staff
- Co-operate harmoniously with other BU/department for the company’s common goal and objectives
- Assist in other company’s requirement when directed and to work within the authority of a Workshop Executive
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of Automotive service / repair experience and 1 year in Supervision position
- Minimum Diploma in Automotive Technology or equivalent
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in MS office
