Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up a new engineering team from scratch and support it on career development.
- Provide technical support for engineers in team.
- Align with product and org objectives, coordinate with cross functional teams on delivering key results.
- Define long term technical roadmap for team.
- Contribute to technical decisions on projects among the product.
Qualifications
- B. Sc or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields from accredited and reputable institutions.
- 5+ years experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Golang/Python/Scala/C++.
- 2+ years on managing or tech-leading a software engineer team.
- Strong software programming capabilities, exhibits good code design and coding style.
- Deep understanding of data structure, algorithm design and analysis, networking, data security and highly scalable systems design.
- In depth knowledge of common databases and messaging frameworks like MySQL/Redis/Kafka etc.
- Experience in payment or transaction systems is a plus
