Overview

Element has an opportunity for an Sales Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for conversion of more complex requests for quotes (RFQ’s) to high quality bids and quotations. You will establish and maintain a strong relationship with clients throughout the sales cycle: proactively following up on leads for future business opportunities, being responsible for following up and converting more complex RFQs to high quality quotations per customer expectations and making detailed testing proposals. 

The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate Element testing to both business and technical users. They must be able to identify all technical requirements of assigned accounts to assure quotations are complete and professional.  In addition to client relations, this role will interact with the Element Sales Team, General Manager, and lab personnel. The ideal candidate will be customer focused, action oriented, approachable and patience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer visits and follow-up with the entire selling process of identifying customers through sales leads, cold calls, etc

  • Develop and establish sales strategies for targeted customer to generate revenue and expand market share

  • Develop and maintain strong business relationship with new and existing customers

  • Ensure customers’ satisfaction with our product and service

  • Deliver technical presentation, handle and lead all the quotation, sales enquiry and project tenders

  • Conduct market research and needs analysis for market competition and competitive

  • Lead the marketing activities to promote company reputation and services to all industries

  • Prepare monthly report for management to develop sales plan and forecast

Skills / Qualifications

  • Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience

  • Experience in testing inspection certification or related field would be an advantageous

  • Possess good analytical and processing skill

  • A team player who is meticulous and able to work independently
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
