Job Description

This role will be responsible for driving the execution of the WP APAC eCommerce and Technology, Media and Telelcom (TMT) growth strategy within the Corporate and Investment Bank, working closely with the Corporate and Investment Bank Sales and Product organizations. Specifically, he/she will work with Sales to identify priority eCommerce and TMT clients, defining sales strategies, participating in proactive client engagement, collaborating with a wide array of internal stakeholders and functional partners, and developing solutions for strategic and complex deals. As such, the role involves working with WP Sales, Corporate Bankers and Product teams to ensure the appropriate coordination and growth of the defined segments. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to work with a dynamic, eCommerce-oriented product set and to own the growth of Corporate client segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategy for growing eCommerce and TMT business and designing solutions leveraging the power of the JPMC franchise (ranging from Global Payments, FX, merchant acquiring, commercial card, trade, to retail/digital payments businesses) across existing and potential clients
  • Responsible for identifying new business opportunities in rapidly evolving eCommerce and TMT market, partnering closely with the Sales teams 
  • Support WP sales and relationship managers with deep product expertise 
  • Partner with WP sales & product management to create compelling segment specific value propositions for eCommerce and TMT solutioning and proposals that will also drive marketing efforts
  • Client engagement and presales activities – Coordinate with WP Sales, Corporate Bankers and Investment Banking Sales for proactive and aggressive client engagement; develop and present client relevant and thoughtful solution presentations aligned with eCommerce and TMT growth strategy
  • Provide continuous feedback to Product teams of emerging trends in the market and client needs for product evolution
  • Coordinate and drive solutioning efforts for complex deals involving multiple products, regions or complexities associated to product delivery
  • Effectively represent product offering and value proposition in industry events and JP Morgan organized events such as Client advisory forums

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience including product sales or sales management; experience in covering eCommerce clients a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • Deep knowledge of transaction banking, cross-border payments, FX and Channels, merchant acquiring, and the evolving wholesale and retail eCommerce payments space
  • Strong product oriented sales experience and acumen. Excellent client facing skills.
  • Ability to develop clear sales and marketing strategies and execute against them
  • Exceptional writing, verbal communication and client facing skills
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to juggle multiple deals/opportunities simultaneously
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with key internal partners
