Position Summary

This is a hybrid role as HR Business Partner and in cooperation with HR Shared Services team to support Business Units and functional departments’ operations on multiple perspectives, including supporting full employment lifecycle activities, Manage Training & Development, review and develop HR Policies, implement Compensation & Benefits programs,

Responsible to facilitate Business Unit’s compensation planning, perform talent management activities, coordinate the remuneration processes of outsourced payroll, facilitate Retention & Engagement activities, and manage internal and external auditing to comply with group policies and regulatory.

Roles and Responsibilities

HR Business Partnership 

  • Develop recruitment strategies to reach talents and scale our recruiting practice
  • Work closely with heads of departments to source, screen, interview, shortlist candidates and fulfill the job vacancies in a timely manner.
  • Conducts background checks, Compensation proposal, offering.
  • Coach and provide advices and handle all employee inquiries on HR-related matters

Retention & Engagement

  • Involve in planning and execution of employee retention & engagement activities including regular communication with managers and key personnel, promote company wellness and recreational activities, 
  • facilitate employee engagement surveys, prompt initiatives to enhance employees’ engagement levels and well-being.

Compensation & Benefits management

  • Perform APAC region compensation & Benefits strategies development and implementation. 
  • Conduct HR data analytics to monitor HR budgets and operational expenses on regular basis. 
  • Keep tracking of employment lifecycle data and support data-based decision making on manpower cost effective oriented.
  • Maintain and upkeep of HR templates and forms with aligned HR policy changes 

HR Reporting

  • Generate and manage internal management and operational HR reports such as Finance/Payroll/Headcount report/Levy/MOM Surveys/Gov Grant or claim.

HR Operational Services

  • Responsible for full employee lifecycle such as on boarding, new hire orientation, confirmation, exit processes, medical benefits administration, payroll benefits and other HR related matters, including employee record upkeep in HRIS and payroll systems

Training Planning and administration

  • Develop and manage Department Training Plan and monitor Training cost expenses.
  • Training administration including coordination and documentation such as training records (Application, Certification and Evaluation)
  • Provide support for audit requests ensuring that they are handled in a timely fashion, and provide information as needed 

Payroll roles relevant

  • This role includes backup HR payrolls in partnering with multiple payroll vendors to perform payroll administration including compile and process payroll data such as benefit claims, overtime, and monthly allowances.

Requirements

  • Diploma/degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar relevant field
  • At least 8 years of prior experience in HR practices and compensation & benefits management. 
  • HR payroll experience preferred (e.g. Timesoft, BIPO)
  • Work knowledge of regional employment policies, compensation & benefits benchmarking, manpower budgeting and costing monitoring.
  • Good knowledge of Employment Act and government labour rules and regulatory, and grant application.
  • Experience of APAC region with a focus on Singapore.
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Good verbal and writing communication skills
  • Advanced in HRIS and MS Office
  • Strong quantitative and data analytical skills
  • Ability to multiple task and work under tight deadlines
  • Business-orientated mindset with agile thinking to solve business problems at the pace of the business.
  • Discreet and meticulous, able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel information.
