The SPF plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure, with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime. As a Research and Planning Officer in the CAD, you can look forward to a challenging career in planning, research, project management, organisation development, public and media relations. You play an important role in driving CAD’s strategic planning, capability development and organisation development, to support the CAD’s mission of preventing, deterring and detecting financial crimes in Singapore.
You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme.
What you will be working on
As a Research & Planning Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Formulating strategic and conceptual plans for CAD
- Managing organisation development for resource optimisation
- Project management including overseeing the planning and implementation of projects
- Managing public and media relation matters of CAD
- Managing international policy matters and engagements
What we are looking for
- At least two years of relevant experience in planning or policy work preferred
- Have a good grasp of English Language and possess good communication and writing skills
- Possesses meticulous planning and strong analytical skills, with the ability to drive changes and resolve issues
- Have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Is an astute problem-solver and be able to take on an innovative approach to issues
- Able to carry out responsibilities with minimum supervision
- Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
