Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the full spectrum of management accounting including budgeting, analyzing, and reporting on the financial performance of the business units to achieve the strategic goal of the hospital.
The detailed responsibilities include preparing the yearly operating budget, costing of services, conducting financial feasibility studies, proactive analysis of cost variances & underlying cost drivers to etc.
You are expected to work closely with the business units such as the clinical departments, Education Office etc to provide financial analysis for proper decision making. You will also need to work closely with HQ, Finance Shared Services and external agencies to ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly & year-end activities. You will also assist in any other admin functions and duties assigned.
Requirements
· Degree or professional qualification in Accounting recognised by ICPAS with audit or budget and management accounting experience
· At least 3-5 years’ experience in a financial management position
· PC literacy in MS Word / Excel & SAP System

The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) is a 2,00-bed acute tertiary psychiatric hospital situated on a 23-hectare campus at Buangkok Green Medical Park. Set amidst serene surroundings, IMH offers a comprehensive range of psychiatric, rehabilitative and counselling services for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
IMH’s tradition of care started in 1928. We were the first mental hospital in Singapore, starting with some 1,00 patients. Since then, many advances have been made in treatment, training, and research. Our treatment integrates evidence-based therapies, supported by the departments of clinical psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, and medical social work, to provide holistic care for our patients. IMH also plays a key role in training the next generation of mental health professionals in Singapore. We train psychiatrists and mental health professionals through the NHG-AHPL Residency Programme for psychiatry and through collaborations with the local tertiary institutions.
