Our company STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is currently looking for candidates who are domiciled in Singapore and surrounding areas with minimum criteria Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree & Master's Degree and experienced in the field of Manufacturing, as well as behave in a disciplined and honest manner, to then be placed in the position of shift manufacturing supervisor (sg6/8 production) m/f - 2023-28823 - #seek and be able to work in full time system.

In accordance of our HRD decision, the net salary we can offer is of SGD 2.000 - SGD 5.700 per month which is competitive and can be adjusted to the work capabilities that the candidate offers for our company.

As a Production Supervisor, You will be involved in:

Production Output

  • Managing production area (module(s) across 2 buildings) to meet production targets for cycle-time, output and yield.
  • Setting and monitoring daily production targets and assign the necessities, such as manpower, machine, material and method to achieve it.
  • Presenting daily production indices in module meetings and highlight key priorities for the Engineering Teams.

Production Yield and Quality

  • Creating good manufacturing practices and maintain strict adherence to manufacturing procedures by consistent audit.
  • Managing preventable scrap such as human errors and use of process control to contain problems.
  • Identifying and resolving preventive maintenance issues and equipment capacities / constraints-related issues.

Production Discipline and Manpower Allocation

  • Ensuring safety, discipline and 5S housekeeping compliance by all personnel and take action against violators.
  • Managing absenteeism, tardiness and disciplinary problems of at least 30 Operators.

Improvement Activities

  • Actively involving in projects that target improvement and better working environment, making use of Root Cause Analysis tools.

Production Planning

  • Analysing WIP profile to minimize constraints in equipment, process or manpower.
  • Addressing issues that affect bottlenecks by working with various departments.
  • To realize the production plan in terms of volume, quality, service and costs by respecting safety & environment rules and by optimizing the necessary resources (human & techniques).

Profile

You are suitable for this role if you are/ have:

  • Degree in Engineering discipline
  • Positive attitude to learn and proven leadership ability.
  • Able to work 12hours rotating shift
  • Able to work in a fast paced working environment.
  • Having two years of relevant working experience is preferred.
  • Preferably with some manufacturing/production management experience.
  • Entry level candidates are welcome to apply.
