We offer a competitive monthly base salary from SGD 5.000 - SGD 7.000.

Due to prioritize professionalism in the work environment, the salary can be adjusted upon compromise with our company's HRD according to the capabilities of the candidate.

Job Details:

  • 1-year renewable contract role with full benefits – 15 days AL, medical benefits, AWS
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday; Office hours
  • Working Location: Benoi – Transport provided from JE MRT
  • This is an Implant position
  • Salary budget from $500-$700


  • The role entails ensuring business continuity, supporting MRO operations, procuring indirect materials/services, conducting market research, managing risks, and improving customer satisfaction through effective customer and supplier relationship management.

Key Accountabilities (% of time spent on each accountability):

Strategic Contributions:(10%)

  • Identify potential suppliers.
  • Evaluate quotations and award contracts.
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships.

Policies and Procedures: (5%)

  • Introduce new strategic sources and improve procurement concepts.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers for critical spare parts and services.
  • Collaborate with the Global Suppliers Relationship Management team to register suppliers via the supplier portal.
  • Evaluate supplier performance.

Indirect Materials/Services:(60%)

  • Send requests for quotations (RFQs) to suppliers through the SAP Supplier Relationship Management platform.
  • Convert purchase requisitions (PR) to purchase orders (PO) based on procurement policies and the Master Authority Schedule.
  • Establish short and long-term contracts and issue spot purchase orders.
  • Manage and upload contracts to the Contact Portal.
  • Maintain internal and external catalog items.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier positions to ensure reliable services and supply at the lowest cost.
  • Implement contracting strategies to achieve synergies, savings, and value creation.
  • Analyze quotation prices, establish contracts, issue purchase orders, and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Identify and classify fast-moving items and establish long-term contracts.
  • Communicate with end-users to address requests, resolve issues, and establish personal business relationships.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and address any issues to minimize disruptions.
  • Coordinate with Finance to resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Optimize costs and achieve savings in the procurement portfolio based on trends, benchmarking, analysis, and negotiations.
  • Meet department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with customer satisfaction and SABIC’s global direction.
  • Achieve targeted savings and value creation.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings.
  • Provide input for vendor evaluation/appraisal and vendor recognition.

Stakeholder/Network Management:(10%)

  • Maintain regular contact with Strategic Business Units (SBUs), Affiliates, and End Users to align procurement services with business needs.
  • Maintain regular contact with key suppliers.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and supplier visits.

Continuous Improvement:(10%)

  • Continuously improve processes and job efficiency.

People Management:(5%)

  • Collaborate and work as a team.

Job Requirement

  • Diploma in related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in related field, supporting MRO and Indirect services

Job Specific Skills

  • Knowledge of sourcing and purchasing activities
  • Strong customer and supplier relationship management skills
  • Knowledgeable with policies, procedures, systems and best practices in areas of MRO buys and Indirect services
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Good cultural awareness
  • Good skills in leadership & motivation, planning & organizing, problem solving and decision making
  • In-depth knowledge of using SAP MM (Material Management) Module
