Job Description:

The headcount will work under the supervision of the Finance team and will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Accounts Payable: Assist in preparing payments, including processing invoices and issuing payments.
  • Financial Reporting: Cross-checking financial statements and data for accuracy to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. May also support the preparation of financial reports and which involves gathering and organizing financial data, performing calculations, and assisting with the analysis of financial results.
  • Preparing and verifying expense reports and statements to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Assist the Finance team in preparing the necessary documentation during audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing administrative support as needed, such as updating accounting files, organizing documents, and other general office duties.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification would be an additional advantage.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
