Our client is a listed company in Precision Engineering and Manufacturing industry, they are looking for a Senior Engineer/ Assistant Manager to join their Engineering Team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East area – easily accessible.
Duties of Senior Engineer/ Assistant Manager:
- Lead and oversee a team of engineers, driving the development and implementation of technical solutions for challenging problems in the Precision Engineering and Manufacturing industry.
- Develop strategic plans for Engineering Projects and ensure their successful execution within specified timelines.
- Recruit, guide, and assess the performance of team members, fostering their professional growth and competence.
- Validate the accuracy and effectiveness of engineering tasks performed by the team.
- Identify staffing and training requirements, analyzing technology and market demands to evaluate project feasibility.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including managers, suppliers, and contractors, to foster effective project communication.
- Present engineering-related insights both internally and externally, conveying technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering Management
- At least 6 years relevant experience
- Experience in Precision Engineering industry is an added advantage
