Duties and Responsibilities
- Process savings, loans and other membership transactions on a daily basis
- Process interest payments semi-annually and reconciliation of the payments
- Process dividend payments yearly and reconciliation of the payments
- Prepare vouchers and journals for savings, loans and other membership transactions
- Prepare month end reports for savings, loans and other membership transactions
- Perform monthly reconciliation of funds received
- Generate and export data to vendor for printing of Statements of Accounts and Dividend Vouchers
- Create savings interest calculation files and maintain records
- Print relevant reports required by the regulatory authority and management
- Perform back-up on all data
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma from a recognised institution
- At least 3 years of experience in finance and IT related position
- Meticulous and accurate in handling data and information. Able to pay close attention to details
- Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all relevant stakeholders
