– DB2 and CDC Admin
- Database creation, addition of data or log file, addition secondary file group/steam
- Full Backup plan configuration using the maintenance plan.
- Configuring TSM online DB backups, TDP configurations.
- Database restoration based on the request for support assets.
- Incident and Request fulfilment management.
- DR reconfiguration and setup in case of failure due to incident.
- Trouble shoot all jobs and maintenance plan issue.
- Log Shipping configuration in standby mode/no recovery mode/ different domain.
- Configuration, setup, troubleshooting of DB cluster
- Manage Managing Re-org, Run stats utility . Backup and restore methods .
- Database performance tuning using db2advis, DB2explain utilities
- CDC tool knowledge , configuration and troubleshooting of Subscriptions /Channels
Ø Generating report on database performance using Database server management tool.
HADR environment and log shipping issues, replication in DB2 UDB environment Working knowledge of Unix Working on server upgrades , fix pack install and database migration.
