The initial salary that we can offer is quite competitive with a range of SGD 2.000 - SGD 5.700. If the credibility and experience that the candidate has exceeds the minimum criteria we need, the salary can change and adjusted according to the decisions of our company's HRD agreement.

As a team member of China & North Asia department within the Global Division 2, you will be reporting to the Senior Director. You will support and organise programmes and business activities involving stakeholders to accomplish SBF’s mission and vision, and divisional goals.

Your main responsibilities will include managing specific markets in China & North Asia, as well as engaging with Singapore businesses to facilitate internationalisation through organising various business activities and programmes. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the designated market(s) and provide support in the end-to-end process of identifying businesses, promoting growth, facilitating projects, deal origination and managing stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing and coordinating projects, events, and seminars aimed at promoting and developing trade and investments for SBF member companies for the China and North Asia regions, including facilitating business discussions and projects with relevant stakeholders. Organising various business activities such as business missions and facilitate formation of Singapore companies’ participation in overseas trade fairs, missions, webinars, and workshops.
  • Involve in bilateral and multi-lateral business committee meetings, preparation of meeting reports, presentation materials, and other relevant documents.
  • Assist in facilitating key initiatives, including key national level projects, such as China-ASEAN Expo, and China International Import Expo.
  • Identify emerging business prospects and trends within China and North Asia markets and generate business opportunities for Singapore companies.
  • Assist in delivering market research, preparing strategic reports, market analysis to comprehend the internationalisation requirements within designated markets and industries.
  • Manage the database of companies and building good rapport with stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in marketing / business development, corporate secretarial, event planning and execution.
  • Prior working experience with government agencies or NGOs is a plus.
  • Good understanding of the needs of Singapore businesses in their internationalisation journeys and able to offer advisory services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Effectively bilingual for business correspondence from English to North Asian languages would be an added advantage.
  • Willing to travel.
