Demand Planner

Adecco is partnering a client in the luxury FMCG industry to join their business as a Demand Planner. This position requires the individual to drive monthly S&OP and forecast meetings, develop 12-month rolling forecast and balancing of demand/supply needs.
Job scope:
- Drive monthly S&OP and forecast meetings with stakeholders
- Create a 12-month rolling demand forecast by taking into account factors such as promotions, product launches, discontinuations, and phase-in/phase-out activities
- Translate demand plan into supply plan for order placement to principal brands
- Maintain a balance between demand and supply requirements across various channels, facilitating product allocation or rebalancing when needed
- Reconcile the supply plan with the demand plan to address potential shortfalls or excess stock situations resulting from new product launches, production-related shortages, or unexpected spikes in demand
- Analyze and communicate business risks and opportunities to stakeholders, cohesively proposing appropriate mitigation plans
- Perform historical sales analysis and data cleansing to establish a statistical baseline for forecasting
- Develop and generate monthly forecasting files, S&OP reports, and KPI reports
- Participate in demand and supply planning projects to contribute to process improvement and optimization
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in any discipline
- Ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to manage contracts
- Familiar with Microsoft Office with strong knowledge in Excel (Pivot Table and VLOOKUP) is a plus
