Responsibilities
- Provide advisory for development / project teams on Application Security.
- Responsible for embedding best practice security through evaluation of SaaS providers
- Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements, researching information security standards, conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments, studying architecture/platform, identifying integration issues.
- Close working with Cloud architects, and DevSecOps team to ensure security by design and communication security for the protection of the organization’s services and assets in the cloud.
- Define and update a roadmap for cyber security baseline controls in OS hardening and cloud environments.
- Address technical questions that vendors and the project team have in regard to the implementation of the technology or process
- Work with the vendor and the project team to make sure the technology gets implemented within project timeline, budget and according to specifications
- Communicate effectively at different levels within and outside the organization
- Stay current on malware, infiltration and investigative techniques, forensics, and the threat environment.
- Design, architect, review, develop and maintain a cloud architecture and cloud security solutions that protect the cloud systems which include compute, storage, network and applications.
- Identify, analyze and resolve vulnerabilities and issues identified in the cloud security solutions and/or multi-account cloud architecture.
- Good knowledge of Cybersecurity technologies, practices, operations, vulnerability and risk management.
- Other duties as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field.
- CISSP certification would be preferred.
- 3 – 5 years of design, implementation and operation experience in a large enterprise environment, with good knowledge in cloud technologies and cloud security solutions, infrastructure and network design, servers and storage, virtualization, especially assuming an architecture or engineering role.
- Strong knowledge with hands-on experience in cloud systems (e.g. AWS, Azure or Google), cloud security technologies (e.g. Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP), Cloud Workload Protection Platform (CWPP), Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Azure Sentinel.
- Experience in architecting, designing, developing and maintaining cloud security solutions.
- Able to translate business and technical requirements into viable secure cloud-based architecture and cloud security solutions, in compliance with security policies, standards and best practices.
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize with strong sense of urgency.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as a strong team player who is proactive, quality-conscious and results-oriented.
