You’ll work as part of a team of subject matter experts with extensive industry experience, providing guidance on a wide variety of issues and working with clients from the corporate, private equity and public sector. With the recent growing number of sustainability-related regulations and requests from both business and government, we can help future-proof businesses by making them more resilient, agile and sustainable.

We are seeking bright and enthusiastic interns from Jul-Dec 2023 (Off-cycle internship) who are passionate about problem solving and keen to pick up the requisite skills for a long term career at PwC.

About the Role

Specific activities include but are not limited to:

• Sustainability projects which could include but not limited to studies on climate change risks (transitional and physical risks), developing decarbonisation/net zero pathways, developing sustainable finance/investing frameworks, impact assessments, ESG due diligence, Sustainable Development Goals strategy, Government policy development work e.g. food waste reduction, plastic reduction.
• Working closely with engagement teams to assist them in adapting to a wide range of ESG frameworks and schemes including GRI; SASB; WEF; UNPRI; etc
• Staying connected across the global PwC network on emerging ESG trends across the globe with relevance to our clients in each market
• Assisting in business development and pitching assignments to engage potential clients

About You

• Undergraduate students from local or overseas universities, participating in courses/electives or degrees in: Sustainability, Environment, Climate Change or similar 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong research, organisation, multitasking and time management skills
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills with a high-attention to detail
• Proficient in basic computer programs 
• Inquisitive, innovative & a creative thinker
