Description

Our Firmwide Corporate Service unit helps build our competitive advantage by providing support to all lines of businesses, spanning Administration, Business Development, Finance, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Legal, Marketing & Communications and Technology. Our specialists in each function bring together a diverse set of skill-sets and expertise to best service their internal clients.

The Operations and Change Management (OCM) team supports all Firmwide Corporate Service departments to improve the quality of the service by streamlining and automating connected processes as well as supporting the implementation of best in class business applications such as Workday, G Suite, Salesforce, etc. The OCM team operationalises the data strategy for the Information Solutions Board.

We are looking for candidates to join us for our off-cycle internship from July to December (6 months).

Process streamlining 

Responsibilities:

  • Review and document processes, whether internal to specific FCS departments, cross FCS departments or firmwide.
  • Analyse documented processes and propose improvements
  • Develop and publish support documentation for the internal clients (in various formats from presentations to web pages, to video, to interactive chat dialogues.

Eligibility:

  • Good understanding of process flow mapping
  • Knowledge in user experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing skills, and a team player
  • Are keen to develop themselves in the profession
  • Are highly motivated, enthusiastic, confident and creative
  • Have a good co-curricular activities record

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand internal support processes in professional service firm
  • Writing SOPs
  • Business process analysis
  • Develop support materials

Data Operationalisation 

Responsibilities:

  • Document data sources, both for internal structured data and client unstructured data
  • Document data flows between business applications
  • Develop and publish data quality dashboard ensuring consistency of controlled data in the business applications
  • Document reports and reconciliations prepared by FCS units and propose streamlining, simplification and automation (PowerBI, etc.)
  • Assist in the ingestion and preparation of unstructured data.

 Eligibility:

  • Good understanding of process flow mapping
  • Knowledge in Master Data Management, and generally in Data Science
  • Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, Python and Alteryx
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player
  • Are keen to develop themselves in the profession
  • Are highly motivated, enthusiastic, confident and creative
  • Have a good co-curricular activities record
  •  

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand internal support processes in professional service firm
  • Experience in Master Data Management
  • Business process analysis
  • Develop support materials

Digitisation 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop SOPs tips and simple scripts to leverage PwC Singapore’s latest digital platforms (Workday, Salesforce, G Suite, Google Cloud Platform) to improve support service to the firm.

  • Knowledge in user experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing skills, and a team player
  • Are keen to develop themselves in the profession
