Global Organization Support

  • Assist to implement, maintain, and continuously improve services required to support the company globally with regards to Quality.
  • Support Operations staff in the use of automated quality systems; summarize automated quality system reports and provide metrics as appropriate.
  • Facilitate investigation and remediation of quality events as assigned
  • Provide RCA support using performance improvement tools and methodologies
  • Utilize electronic QMS tools to document and communicate status of RCA
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with internal customers to obtain information and content to ensure successful root cause analysis completion.
  • Make judgements based on information gathered to make sound recommendation to the stakeholders for any improvements as well as escalating appropriately

QMSO Support

  • As assigned, complete QMSO goals for the key QMS elements.
  • Maintain a familiarity with Parexel QMS-related applications and related processes.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives as assigned, including reporting information and escalations as needed.
  • Remain informed about developments in relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Define, coordinate and supervise the RCA end to end procedure
  • Provide technical knowledge where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain relevant guidance including best practices for improvement
  • Work closely to Quality teams to ensure high quality and consistency on issue resolutions and trade off decisions for critical RCAs.

Parexel Quality Department Support

  • Work with Corporate Quality to develop and/or update quality/process documents, tools, and templates. Consider process for effectiveness measurement.
  • Track and manage the cost of poor quality associated to the issues correlated to RCA
  • Effectively communicate and provide RCA report/presentation for leaders
  • Work closely to Quality team and Head of Quality to ensure high quality and consistency on issue resolutions and trade off decisions for critical RCAs
  • Maintain a positive, results oriented work environment
  • Work with the relevant training functions including Learning & Development and Operations. Assist with the development or enhancement of training materials as assigned

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 3 to 6 years work experience
  • Root Cause Analysis investigation experience, including use of performance improvement tools required
  • Experience in Clinical Research field (pharmaceutical industry or CRO)
  • Knowledge of GxP compliance
  • Experience working in a global environment
  • Relevant experience in Quality Management preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience required.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • RCA or Quality Management certification preferred
